I am a bilingual, Dominican-American journalist who covers and produces multimedia content on transnational health, microeconomic initiatives, and bicultural leadership movements for communities in Latin America and the Caribbean, and their diasporas in the United States. I am the founder of Huellas Media Lab and its technology and journalism initiatives.

Director, Latino Media Initiative at the Community Media Center

First Dominican to hold the position and second journalist to lead the national impact initiative since the center's founding in 2012.

Multimedia reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer

As a Lenfest Fellow, I created a reporting area to enhance information services for Latino communities in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, cultivating relationships with community leaders who were either unaware of the newspaper or reluctant to engage with its work. I also founded El Inquirer , the Spanish-language version of the newspaper, in August 2019.

Because of my knowledge of conservation and the environment, I was able to secure this internship in New York City with the largest chapter of a non-profit organization that protects natural territories and biological reserves in the world through private investment.
